1. What does BARR2148 LIMITED do?

We are an advertising and recruitment platform. We do not employ candidates directly; instead, we connect job seekers and employers through a simplified, card-based system.

2. What is the Cards System?

The Cards System is a unique recruitment method developed by BARR2148 LIMITED. Employers and candidates each present themselves on descriptive cards. This saves time by allowing both sides to quickly decide whether to connect directly.

3. How much does it cost to post a job or CV?

Both employers and candidates pay £9.99 to publish either a job advert or a CV/profile. The price is equal for fairness and transparency.

4. What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card payments processed securely through Stripe. We do not accept PayPal or offline payments.

5. Can I get a refund?

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies:

  • By paying, you consent to the immediate publication of your advert or CV. This means you waive your 14-day cancellation right under consumer law.

  • Once published, no automatic refunds apply.

  • Refunds may be granted at our discretion only in cases of duplicate payment, technical error, or cancellation before publication.

6. How do I unsubscribe and delete my account?

You can unsubscribe at any time by:

  • Logging into your account and deleting your profile.

  • Emailing info@barr2148.com.

  • Using the Get in Touch form on the main page.
    We will verify your identity before deletion. Only legally required data is retained.

7. How do you protect intellectual property?

The name and image BARR.214.8銅® are registered trademarks with the UK Intellectual Property Office, protected internationally in multiple classes. Our slogan (“Jobs made simple”), website content, designs, and the Cards System are proprietary intellectual property. Unauthorised copying or use will result in legal action.

8. Is your website accessible?

Yes. We comply with international standards including WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508, the UK Equality Act, and EU directives. We use readable fonts, strong contrast, and no moving/animated effects. We welcome accessibility feedback at info@barr2148.com.

9. What is your Equal Opportunities stance?

We prohibit discrimination on any grounds (age, disability, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc.). Employers may not post discriminatory job adverts, and candidates may not upload discriminatory content. Breaches may result in removal or account suspension without refund.

10. How do I make a complaint?

Complaints must be submitted via info@barr2148.com, the Get in Touch form, or by post to:

We acknowledge within 5 working days, investigate within 10–20 working days, and provide a final response with an option to appeal.

11. What if I am unhappy with your response?

You must complete our Internal Complaints Procedure before escalating to regulators or legal bodies. Only after exhausting this process may external steps be taken.

12. Can I post negative reviews if I’m unhappy?

We welcome fair, accurate feedback. However, false, defamatory, or malicious reviews that breach our Complaints Procedure or cause reputational harm may result in legal action.

13. Do you keep my data?

No. We do not store data beyond what is necessary for legal compliance (e.g., accounting, fraud prevention, or regulatory obligations).
